Become familiar with best practices in collecting seeds of native plants and support our work to increase Tribal access to First Food plants. Participants will explore for native flora and learn about the work of the Indigenous Gardens Network. Participants will gain hands-on experience in plant identification and support ongoing place-based restoration for First Foods as we work to replace invasive pasture grasses. A fun and informative introduction for restoration managers, ecology students, and garden enthusiasts.

Easy/ moderate: Easy walking over uneven terrain, bending over.

Bring water and snacks, long pants and close-toed shoes recommended.
